Hi guys. I just joined the board (just found out about it today, in fact). So, a little about me. I was only in Smith for 1 year 89-90. During the fall semester of that year, my roommate, Dan Dostie, started dating a cute Smurthie by the name of Ruth. After they broke up, she asked me out, and the rest, as they say, is history. We celebrated our 15th anniversary last month. We've got three rugrats. Taliesin (Tal) is 12, Zebulon (Zeb) is 10, and Kathryn (Katie) is 8. Work-wise, after I graduated in '95 (I squeezed four years of college into six), I worked for a year for a smallish computer consulting company in Lawrence. Then, my former boss from when I worked for CNS on campus called and told me there was a full-time IT position at the Student Union available. So I bought a house in the thriving metropolis of Westmoreland KS, where I still live today. I worked for nearly 4 years for the Union, then took a job for the Rock Creek school district. Another 3 years there, and I took another step-up to work for Network Resource Group ( www.nrg-inc.com/) in Manhattan. We're a small (as in, 3 people small) computer and network consulting company, working mostly with small businesses. The board is bringing back good memories! Thanks, Jeremy, for setting this up!

Hey Kyle: Nice to see you show up in here. It's fun to see what people have been up to.

Welcome Kyle. I do recall some bitter feelings on Dan's part back then. It's all water under the bridge now though.
I would love to be able to work and stay around Manhattan. What a cool life!

I was pretty oblivious to any bitter feelings. I saw here that he's married and with kids, too, so it sounds like it worked out well for him.
Manhattan's still a fun place to be. But strangely, the kids coming to school keep getting younger and younger. I think they're admitting Jr. High kids now. (Surely it CAN'T be that I'm just getting older???)
