Hello-I was pleased to hear about the coming 50th anniversary gathering. I never dreamed that, when I pulled into the smith lot in 1974, I'd someday come back with my wife and teenaged daughter or that said daughter would be excited to attend (she looks older than her 13 years, so please don't try to drag her to aggieville). Despite a couple of cliff-dives into the lagoon of poor judgement, I've settled in Parsons where I've been a pharmacist for the past 15 years and am, if not a pillar of the community, at least one of the cinder blocks in it's basement. I was sorry to hear that the sacred room 101 sleeping dorm has gone the way of my brown hair and size 34 jeans, but am looking forward to seeig how things have changed. Have a great summer, don hudson 3005 morton parsons, ks

Welcome to the forum Don. I look forward to meeting you at the reunion. My mother is from Parsons and my sister-in-law also hails from there. I think some of her family, the Creitz's still live there. I used to visit there a lot to see my grandparents before they passed.
Also, if you know anyone from your years at Smith that you are still in contact with, or would like to encourage to show up, feel free. You can contact Marvin Schlatter here on the forum for names and phone numbers if you like. I'm helping out with the 88-94 years. Jeremy
