My name is Zach Snyder (aka Sacs) and I lived in Smith House from 2002-2006. In my time I was the President, Recruiting Chair, Social Chair, and others but am probably most famous for how I left as opposed to how I lived there. I graduated with a degree in Business Management and currently live in Manhattan where I recruit college students for a summer internship program that I help to facilitate.
If I were to be classified as a certain type of person at Smith House it would be a traditionalist. I was for the lofts, Around the World, Hell Night, Orientation Week, Pranks on Smurth and Clovia, Finals Week Wrestling, and the Maitland E Smith Scholarship House Awards for the Culinary Arts and Custodial Sciences (MESSHACACS). I believe all but one (orientation week) has been done away with since I left. I was against heating in the sleeping dorm but I guess they need it because they don't build Smithies like they used to!
Anyway, I thought since I had looked at this site multiple times I might as well introduce myself and become an active user. Honestly I am pretty excited about the 50th anniversary extravaganza just because I like to hear stories that start with "Way back when I lived in Smith House...".
Until next time,
Sacs

Man, no MESSHACACS any more? I guess I'm a traditionalist too. Times, change, I guess. Maybe there are some new traditions?

OMG, BenBen must be turning in his grave, or the attic or wherever he is these days! NO MESSHACACS?!?! What do they do with their leftover jello now? What do they DO period? Study? Are there at least ultimate games? I need a rundown on what the guys do for recreation now or my heart might just fail me.
