Hello Smith type dudes! I just moved back to Wichita in January after 11 years in Arizona. After K-State, I lived in Topeka for a couple of years, Rock Island, IL for a couple of years, and finally on to Arizona. My wife, Christine, and I married while I was still at K-State; my daughter, Madison was born in Illinois in 1995; and my son, Zachary, was born in Arizona in 2000. I guess Mike already admitted that he is related to me - so, yes, he is my nephew. Mike - maybe we should see each other again someday I am looking forward to reading the rest of these boards to see how everyone is. Just one question - who do I contact to remove possible incriminating evidence?! Not that there would be any....

Hey Joel. Welcome. You can contact me if there are any problems on this forum. If we can grow bigger I may enlist some others to help moderate, but we're still pretty fledgling.
What do you do in Wichita? I only lived there for 18 years. Scott Hane is there too though. He's a big shot doctor now. I think his practice is out in Andover though.

I am still working for an engineering firm in Arizona. I am a partner in the firm, so I gave my other partners the option of opening an office in Wichita or me just leaving and working for someone else. So far it has worked out - but I am still doing all Phoenix based projects, so I fly back there about once a month.
I am living in Auburn Hills (West Syde) and the kids go to school in Goddard. I grew up in Mulvane, but it's been about 20 years since I lived here, so it's like a completely new city.

So, you gave up the heat for the humidity? Whew, I would never do that.
I'm sure most of Wichita is like a completely new city. I haven't been back in many many years. I have always been an East Syder (2 blocks from Towne East).
So Joel, it would seem that you are serious in biking. Do you race a lot?

Hey Joel!!
Nice to hear from you. Brian and Jan Scharping live in W. Wichita also. His backyard faces a wheat field.
Tiffany and I are in Lake Jackson, TX the last 7 years working for Dow Chemical.
